Internship Opportunity: Urban Tree Stewardship

Earn units while helping to propagate and care for trees with a focus on climate tolerance and improving the longevity and resilience of our campus canopy as an intern for the Learning by Leading™ Urban Tree Stewardship Program.

Through this internship, students will learn about urban forest management and build field observation, project management and leadership skills as they transplant, maintain, monitor and assess trees and plan community engagement activities.

As part of the Urban Tree Stewardship Program internship, students can earn one to two units per quarter and must be able to commit three hours per week for the upcoming winter and spring quarters. If you're interested in the position please apply by midnight on Monday, Nov. 8.

We welcome current UC Davis students interested in stewarding and improving our campus canopy and learning more about how we can advance our campus-wide climate adaptation goals. This program is also a great fit for those interested in arboriculture, nursery management, data collection and analysis for research and tree conservation.
