Esque & Kathryn Frost

Esque and Kathryn Frost met in November 1978; they became engaged in January 1979. On the eighth anniversary of the day they met, they were married. They celebrate their love on a daily basis and, after nearly 32 years of togetherness, sometimes it seems as if they have only just met.

Esque retired as a Sergeant after 30+ years with the former California State Police. After 35+ years of State service, Kathryn currently works as a Manager at the Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs. Esque is a native of Sacramento, where they both now reside.

Their bench at UC Davis commemorates their love, as well as celebrates Kathryn's graduation from UC Davis in June 2000 - Native American Studies.
