Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer!

Volunteering with the UC Davis Arboretum and Public Garden is a fun and meaningful way to spend time outdoors, meet new people, and learn new skills.

We offer two ways to get involved:

Trained Volunteer Program – For those who want to make a long-term commitment. Our trained volunteers receive hands-on instruction and join a team that meets regularly throughout the year.
Community Volunteer Days – Perfect for anyone who wants to pitch in when they can. These one-time workdays are open to everyone—no training needed. Learn more.

We’re not currently recruiting for our Trained Volunteer Program, but you can stay in the loop about upcoming Community Volunteer Days and other opportunities by signing up for the Arboretum's e-newsletter, the Leaflet.
