Arboretum All-Stars Plant Database

Search the Arboretum All-Stars plant database to explore our new climate-ready lineup. Discover plants selected to thrive in hotter and drier conditions and withstand extreme weather events while supporting pollinators and local wildlife—perfect for creating resilient, sustainable gardens—and take them home. Many will be available at our fall and spring plant sales.

Introducing Our New All-Star Plant Lineup for a Changing Climate

A lush, sun-dappled patio in the UC Davis Arboretum Terrace Garden, featuring metal café tables and chairs surrounded by flowering plants, large ceramic pots, and mature shade trees. In the center, a repurposed stone fountain now serves as a raised planter filled with drought-tolerant vegetation. The garden exudes a peaceful, Mediterranean-inspired ambiance with abundant greenery and filtered light.
