Nature's Gallery Court

Dedicate a tile in Nature’s Gallery Court

Looking for a unique way to honor a graduate, pay tribute to a loved one or commemorate a special occasion? Dedicate a tile in Nature’s Gallery Court, the Arboretum’s iconic mural wall depicting flowers and insects found in our water-wise gardens. Nature’s Gallery Court is located at the west end of the Arboretum, near the Arboretum Teaching Nursery.

Tribute tiles available in the Arboretum

Become part of the many stories captured in Arboretum tribute tiles. Tiles are available in three locations: the majestic T. Elliot Weier Redwood Grove; the peaceful Peter J. Shields Oak Grove and the artistic Nature’s Gallery Court mural. Visit again and again with family and friends to stroll the Arboretum gardens and take pleasure in seeing your memories honored.

Student-built bike racks constructed near Arboretum Gazebo

It's hard to believe that no bike parking existed here before, but now — thanks to a partnership with the UC Davis College of Engineering — the area around the Arboretum Gazebo, Nature’s Gallery Court, and the Ruth Risdon Storer Garden now are complete with spaces to lock up your two-wheeled vehicles!

Nature's Gallery Court update

The last two weeks have been a flurry of activity at Nature’s Gallery Court as co-founders of the UC Davis Art-Science Fusion program Diane Ullman and Donna Billick have been able to install the Nature’s Gallery mosaic mural of 140 tiles hand-crafted by UC Davis students, staff, faculty and community members. The art is truly stunning in its new home and is sure to become a famous campus landmark.
